Today, 911³Ô¹ÏÍø is well-equipped to navigate a critical inflection point in a rapidly evolving and increasingly complex landscape. By leveraging its reputation for academic quality and innovation, and by continuing to develop novel programs, services, resources, and experiences that reflect the needs of diverse learners, 911³Ô¹ÏÍø is well-positioned to deepen its ties to the workforce, address urgent societal challenges, and generate new revenue streams that ensure long-term financial sustainability and institutional growth.

Within this exciting context, 911³Ô¹ÏÍø invites applications for the position of President and Vice Chancellor. Reporting to the Board of Governors and working in close collaboration with Sheridan’s community of faculty, staff, students, and external partners, the President will lead the College in pursuing transformational, entrepreneurial opportunities grounded in the values that set Sheridan apart – quality, creativity, innovation, collaboration, and the student experience. The President will provide strategic leadership to the on-going transformation of the College. The President will fully engage Sheridan’s human, academic, financial and physical resources in the development and delivery of its globally recognized programs, applied research, and partnerships; building and nurturing reciprocal relationships with community partners, governments, donors, alumni, and colleague institutions.

911³Ô¹ÏÍø seeks a transformational executive leader who has a successful track record and a passion for uniting communities under shared goals during times of significant change. The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree in a relevant field and have a demonstrated record of effective senior leadership in the post-secondary sector or a similarly complex unionized environment.

The President must be a visionary leader and a compelling communicator, adept at uniting members of the College and the community under a shared vision for an exciting future. The President will drive strategic initiatives that ensure long-term financial sustainability while preserving 911³Ô¹ÏÍø’s reputation for programming excellence and outstanding student services, and advancing our commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging, and truth and reconciliation.

Consideration of candidates will begin immediately and expressions of interest will be accepted until August 10, 2025, with the successful candidate assuming office ideally in early January 2026.
